How do I book you?
It’s simple! Just get in touch with us via phone or email. We require a payment of sessions before we start. E-transfers are an accepted mode of payment and often are the easiest way to do this.
What's included in my session fee?
Depending on which session you are purchasing (e.g. family session or Business Branding) so call us for more details.
Family Sessions start at $385
What happens after I've contacted you about a booking?
Philomena will give you a phone call and talk with you about your needs. She will ask you to bring in the clothing for your session and (depending on what kind of session you are purchasing) how many outfits to bring.
How do I know what color/type of clothing to wear?
When Philomena talks with you upon before the photo session date booked she she will go over all the details. That said, have a precursory look into your closet and see what you have already and know the colour options you have. Another tip is to go on Pinterest and see what appeals to you. Send Philomena a link/image to any clothing ideas those before your consultation. If you have been photographed before, don’t be afraid to try a new style or colour!
I am nervous about posing as I have no modelling experience.
Not to worry! Philomena will coach you through every pose and how to shape your body to looks its best. The majority of the people that come to us are not models–they are everyday people, and as you can see they all look amazing and natural.
Should I lose weight before the shoot? I hear the camera always adds ten pounds...
As a professional photographer i hear this all the time but really as a professional it is my promise and my job really to pose you to showcase your beauty and I am good for 10lbs so the more important thing is to not put it off .
What happens after the photoshoot?
Prior to the photoshoot, Philomena will walk you through the products she sells and you can go over any ideas about how you want your photos to look with her during this time so that she can keep it in mind during your photo shoot. For example, if you want something to go over the mantle that shows more of the landscape in your outdoor photo shoot then let her know so she can create it for you.
Our next step is to process your images and prepare them for you to view at our Reveal Sessions. Generally it takes us 7-10 days after your session to prepare your Reveal. Once we are ready for you, you will get in touch and set up a Zoom Link to go over your images with her. We want to be with you when you are seeing them for the first time so we can answer any questions you may have and help you plan which ones to purchase if need be.
Turnaround time varies ( upon the season ) but generally prints are completed between 3-4 weeks.
How much does this cost?
Philomena wants you to know that she is aware you are putting your faith and trust in her abilities to produce beautiful images that you will fall in love with. She would love you to have them all. If you want to purchase them all then that’s fantastic! But it is entirely up to you as to how much you want to spend.
Our prices start at $150, but average sale of prints is $2500 to $4000 for a family (including child portraits, parents, and family with and without a pet and sometimes just the pet), $1500-$2000 for Mother-Daughter -Granddaughter session, and $1200-$1750 for Personal Branding. These are just examples.
When you are at your pre-consultation, Philomena will go over the all of the products and you can let her know what you would like to do with the images and where they are going.
Can we see our Reveal photos more than once?
Yes, however if you require a second Reveal session we charge $50. So, it is important that those that are making the purchasing decisions for your images are at the Reveal the first time. We really prefer you to spend your money on your portraits.
Can I only buy digital files?
We offer a service that includes digital files which is for head shots only (3 are included in the package) with the option to purchase more. Otherwise we sell prints, but with every you purchase we include a digital file for your personal use (social media, cards/invitations, etc.) We use HIGHTAIL to deliver the digital files to you for ease of downloading.
